Yoosure - Spirit Away in the Kingdom of Bhutan

As been told by our ancestors, Chinese people are the descendants of the Dragon.

Detailed

As been told by our ancestors, Chinese people are the descendants of the Dragon. But people seldom know that there is another country, not far from ours, also revered as the "Land of the Thunder Dragon”. That ancient and mysterious place is called “the Kingdom of Bhutan”.
It is said that in the era of Shakya Muni Buddha, the dragon tribe made their oath: their descendants should protect the religion of Buddhism from generation to generation. They believe that the hearts of their descendants are as hard as diamond and have the power to be indestructible! We are so lucky to be Chinese, becoming the descendants of the Dragon. Therefore we should root the faith deeply in our heart, and worship the Buddha’s teachings.
Unfortunately, in nowadays, children, born after year 2000, live in the soaring development era of technology, information and internet. They do not have the opportunity and the environment to listen and to know the Buddha’s teachings. (As parents, neither of us knows the Buddhism.) The formal education of our children has been gradually restricted by the systematic score system and the development of children’s mind and spirit has been ignored for a long time. More and more parents teach and influence our children in an unconscious and subtle way  to have the value in line with this society.
On the other hand —— the people of Bhutan, also known as the descendants of the Dragon, their children were also born after year 2000. They consistently revere the Buddha’s teachings on a national-wide scale. The knowledge about the benefit of being vegetarian, the meaning of ahimsa, the importance of environmental protection and the technology of organic farming has been widely spread within their children and their future generations. In fact, many developing countries begin to emphasis the awareness of environmental protection only after their climate and living environment being severely damaged. It will be incapable for us to defend our only homeland in the next 20 or 50 years. One day our children will take over the environment that has been devastated by our modern life and they have to live in such a society with less human interest. It is assured that in the future, some of our children will become the leaders of the country, or become persons having influence in a certain field. It will be so important if he/she has virtue and mercy!
Life cannot survive without the material; while human beings cannot live without the spirit and nature. As is known to all, we are living in a material world which judges everything with two opposite opinion, either black or white. Even though Money is the essential element, it is hard to imagine how dangerous it will be that someone with neither faith nor mercy will control the money and the power.
Now it is time for RainbowChildren aged between 7-12 to build the values of themselves, of others and of the world. Instead of taking your children to travel or to do shopping  in this summer time; Surkanyima and Ray from Rainbow Class will provide your children an opportunity to have a totally different and unforgettable holiday. We encourage our parents to give your children a chance to engage in such a meaningful spiritual  travel and experience the reverence for the living.
